Working in a mine, besides being able to comfort oneself with earning a little more money, other things like comfort and ease are completely out of the question! There are no weekends, no holidays, and no fixed working hours in the mines. If you are very ambitious, have good skills, good drinking capacity, and are good at networking, you might be able to enter the leadership ranks early and earn more. If not, you might still be a technical manager at 40, or the company might pity you and give you a raise.
Responsibility is paramount; one can only grit one's teeth and move forward!
Working in the mines year-round, one cannot fulfill their responsibilities as a father, husband, and son. My wife often complains, but she has a kind heart, and she manages the household very well. Before coming to the mine, I thought I would earn more here. After coming, I found out that after working for 6 months, I only received 3 months' wages. Now that I think about it, what's the use of earning money? I can't drive a car, I can't live in a house, and my wife is spending her best years as a widow.
Back in my hometown, I feel out of place. My friends who work in offices in the city, they have gradually risen to higher positions over time through their hard work. They spend time with their wives and children every day, and they can drive their cars and take their families out for outings and picnics on weekends.
