Previously, 6 meter large-diameter shaft construction usually adopted the method of first constructing a small-diameter shaft and then manually expanding it. This required workers to perform drilling, blasting, and brushing operations in a complex and harsh environment in the shaft, resulting in high safety risks and heavy labor intensity.

 

After learning that Hunan Chuangyuan had independently developed Asia's first full-rock-type large-diameter intelligent shaft drilling rig CY-R200V the construction unit immediately contacted Hunan Chuangyuan for understanding and communication, and was the first in the industry to introduce and apply it. This construction used fully mechanized and automated construction. After completing the bottom 36 meters of the 6 meter diameter shaft construction, only the blade components needed to be replaced to continue the remaining 181 meters of the 5 meter diameter shaft construction, which was safe, efficient, simple, and fast. The entire 217 meter pilot hole took 325 hours (based on a two-shift system of 20 hours per day, it took 16.25 days). According to the mine's measurement, the deviation was approximately 337mm and the deviation rate was 0.15% which meets the design requirements; 217 The cumulative time for expanding the 450 hours (based on a two-shift system of 20 hours per day, it took 22.5 meter shaft was 21 days), and the highest expansion speed was / meters

This successful application CY-R200V at Dundekou Iron Mine fully demonstrates Baogang Group's high emphasis on safety production and its determination to promote the mechanization and intelligent upgrading of mining through advanced intelligent equipment.
