Pangang Mining, relying on the abundant vanadium-titanium magnetite resources in the Panxi region, has gradually become a leader in the iron and steel vanadium-titanium industry, but still faces the common problems of poor mining operation environment and harsh conditions in mining enterprises. Based on this situation, Pangang Mining is accelerating the digital, intelligent, and unmanned transformation of its mines, striving to build a " 5G+ Smart Mine".

Hunan Chuangyuan, together with China Mobile, Huawei and other companies, assisted Pangang Mining in the construction of the Zhu Lan Iron Mine " 5G Remote Mining project. This project has recently completed the intelligent transformation of equipment and is currently in the stage of on-site debugging and trial operation.

Pangang Mining " 5G Remote Mining project, the intelligent transformation of the roller bit drilling rig equipment and the remote control system of the roller bit drill were independently undertaken by Hunan Chuangyuan. The transformation started in 2021 year 10 month, and the progress has been rapid. The project innovatively changed the discrete on-site operation mode of open-pit iron ore mining sites into a semi-continuous remote operation mode, establishing an 5G intelligent mining project control center in a comfortable office, which not only helps to reduce costs and increase efficiency, but also greatly improves the working environment for workers and strengthens intrinsic safety.

In the era of digital, intelligent, and unmanned transformation and upgrading of mining enterprises, Hunan Chuangyuan has taken the lead in layout, becoming the only domestic supplier of integrated mining technology, intelligent equipment, and integrated control platforms that can achieve autonomous operation of intelligent equipment. It has been widely recognized by the industry and has won numerous awards.
