Hunan Chuangyuan High-tech Machinery Co., Ltd.'s newly developed intelligent cutting slot shaft drilling rig CY-R40C is specifically designed for drilling and blasting buffer holes and cutting shafts in block caving, staged caving, and staged mining. It can also be used for drilling ore shafts, ventilation shafts, and other material transport shafts. This has changed the situation in China where the overall efficiency of shaft construction was low, the working environment was harsh, and safety risks were high. It is being increasingly used in actual production by more and more mining enterprises.

Anhui Development Mining Co., Ltd. (referred to as Ankai Mining) is a large-scale iron ore mining and selection joint venture under China Minmetals Corporation's Minmetals Mining, and owns the largest underground iron mine currently built and put into operation in China.

Since Hunan Chuangyuan CY-R40C cutting slot drilling rig in 2019 year entered the Ankai Mining construction site, excluding time factors such as maintenance, mine shutdown, relocation, and holidays, a total of 2305.9 meters were constructed, 107 shafts, 213 kilometers of relocation travel, 25 under normal operating conditions, one

Ankai Mining is very satisfied with the use effect of our cutting slot drilling rig and its after-sales technical service, 2021 year, they purchased an upgraded version of the cutting slot drilling rig again, and it entered the construction site in 9 month of that year. A total of 600.6 meters were constructed, and the construction efficiency remained at 0.7 meters / per hour. A historical record of penetrating 10 meters in one shift was achieved.

CY-R40C The cutting slot shaft drilling rig's modular crawler chassis and modular dual power unit are compact in structure and flexible in transportation, meeting the requirements of most roadways in large, medium, and small mines. The designed bidirectional propulsion mechanism, four-pillar two-cylinder positioning mechanism without concrete foundation, and rotary drive structure can achieve all-round positive and reverse excavation and adapt to different loads of the drilling rig. The fully mechanized rod loading and unloading operation greatly reduces the workload of operators and saves auxiliary operation time.
