Mineral resources and the development of Chinese culture are closely linked to the destiny of the Chinese nation. From the bronze of the Yin and Zhou dynasties, the iron smelting of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, the brine wells of the Qin and Han dynasties, to the coal of the Han and Wei dynasties and the natural gas of the Wei and Jin dynasties, the development of mining has greatly promoted the improvement of living standards and social development.

In 1949, our great motherland was a small mining country where mining production was almost paralyzed, and even iron nails needed to be imported; under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, in 2021, China has become the world's largest producer, consumer, and trader of mineral products.
