Good news! Chuangyuan Hi-Tech wins the bid for the procurement project of cutting slot drilling machines and shaft drilling machines from Jiu Steel Group.

Recently, Chuangyuan High-Tech won a bid for the Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiu Steel Group") Procurement and Supply Branch's 2020 Jingtieshan Mine Huashugou Mining Area Central and Western District Development and Connection Project cutting slot drilling machine (1 unit), raise boring machine (2 units) procurement project. This project is one of Jiu Steel Group's major deployments in Gansu Jingtieshan Mine. Jingtieshan Mine is one of Jiu Steel Group's two famous mines (the other is Xigou Limestone Mine).

Materials show that Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group was founded in 1958. It is a steel integrated enterprise planned and constructed during the country's First Five-Year Plan period, and it is also the earliest and largest, and a diversified modern enterprise group with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals in Northwest China. Its main businesses include six major sectors: steel, non-ferrous metals, power energy, equipment manufacturing, productive services, and modern agriculture. In 2019, Jiu Steel Group ranked 199th among the top 500 Chinese enterprises and 85th among the top 500 Chinese manufacturing enterprises.

The cutting slot drilling machine that won the bid for this Jiu Steel Group procurement project is one of Chuangyuan High-Tech's self-developed representative high-end products, and it is also the first cutting slot raise boring machine in Asia. In mining operations, the purpose of cutting slots is to create free faces and provide free space for large-scale mining, and it is the most important part of the underground mining process. Cutting raise boring is one of the main projects of pre-cutting, and its workload generally accounts for 40% to 50% of the pre-cutting workload. Therefore, accelerating the advancement of cutting raises is of vital significance to ensuring the three-level ore balance of underground mines and achieving sustained and balanced high yield.

The world's first raise boring machine specifically for cutting slot excavation was launched in 2014, but due to its huge size and high price, it is difficult to meet the needs of many small and medium-sized mines in China. The cutting slot drilling machine independently developed by Chuangyuan High-Tech has only 1/2 the size of similar foreign products and costs less than 1/3 of similar foreign products. It has excellent mobility, does not require foundation pouring, and is quick to move and install. Its operation is safe and efficient, and it can fully meet the needs of various underground mine cutting slot construction processes in China, thus being widely recognized by mine customers. In addition to its upcoming application in Jiu Steel Group's Jingtieshan Mine, it has been successfully used in the Xinjiang Asheler Copper Mine project and has attracted widespread attention from the industry.
