1. Power System: A large diesel engine burns diesel fuel to provide the main power source, and a generator driven by a diesel engine provides electricity;

2. Mechanical System: Driven by an electric motor;

3. Hoisting System: Used to lift heavy objects; It consists of a mechanical winch (winch) and a large steel cable spool, a pulley, and a receiving storage spool for the cable.

Rotary Equipment: Its function is to rotate the drilling:

First, there is a large rotating handle that can withstand the weight of the drill string; allowing for string rotation and pressure sealing on the hole.

Four-sided or six-sided pipes transfer the rotary motion to the turntable and drill string; turntable or rotary table - uses the power of the electric motor to drive the rotary motion.

Drill String: Consists of drill rods (approximately 30 feet (10 meters) connecting sections and drill collars (larger diameter, heavier pipes that can be installed around the drill rods and place weight on the drill bit).

Drill Bit: The actual cutting end of the drill bit that cuts the rock; there are many shapes and materials (hard alloy steel, diamond), specifically designed for various drilling tasks and rock formations.
