On April 3, the CY-R80V raise borer ordered by our Yunnan customer was successfully assembled and debugged, and shipped to Yunnan. The equipment has arrived at the mine and the feedback is positive, contributing to efficient mine production.


CY-R80V Self-propelled Raise Borer Technical Introduction
1. Technical Features
The mobile raise borer utilizes advanced computer-aided design and simulation technology, employing modern hydraulic, sensing, and programmable control technologies, and is equipped with internationally advanced hydraulic, electrical, and transmission components. Focusing on the specific needs of underground mines in China, it possesses the following significant technical features:
1) Mobile and Flexible, Quick Installation
It adopts dual-power drive of diesel and electric power, making it mobile and flexible. It can safely and quickly perform long-distance relocation, avoiding the time-consuming and laborious track laying and towing work of traditional raise borers.
It uses a dual-speed hydraulically driven crawler chassis, which can be manually shifted or automatically shifted and steplessly varied according to load changes, making driving simple and comfortable.
Compared with similar foreign products, its size and working space are much smaller, making it perfectly suitable for use in China's underground mines.
2) Highly Intelligent, Efficient and Safe
The raise borer's RCS operating system is highly intelligent, easy to operate, and safe and reliable, with the following functional features:
Safety Protection Functions
Ø Anti-misoperation drop rod: The misoperation interlock function ensures that the insert plate can only be reversed and loosened when it is in the correct state, and the drill bit connecting thread can only be withdrawn when it is tightened, effectively preventing the serious accidents of misoperation drop rod that often occur in traditional drilling machines.
Ø Drilling jamming warning: Torque sensors and speed sensors timely detect torque and speed values online. If the torque shows a continuously increasing trend and the speed is unstable, the system will issue a timely alarm, and if it exceeds the set value, the system will shut down and wait for the operator to handle it.
Ø Automatic detection and diagnosis: During operation, the fault diagnosis module continuously monitors key points of the hydraulic and electrical control systems. If the detected value deviates from the normal value, the system will issue an alarm and display a fault prompt.
Ø Emergency power cut-off: Regardless of the operating status, the diesel engine and electric motor power can be cut off with one button at the operating position to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.
Automatic Operation Functions
Ø Automatic positioning: During operation, the rotary mechanism needs to accurately stop at different advancing positions for different operations. Traditional drilling machines use manual positioning, which is cumbersome and time-consuming. The cutting slot drilling machine relies on position sensors for automatic precise positioning, which is quick and time-saving.
Ø Automatic pressurization: Due to the influence of the weight of the drill pipe, the thrust pressure needs to be continuously adjusted with the change of well depth to ensure reasonable axial pressure of the drill bit on the rock surface. The cutting slot drilling machine automatically completes this work without manual intervention, greatly reducing the difficulty of operation.
Ø Automatic shifting: The cutting slot drilling machine can automatically switch between high and low gears according to the road load.
Ø Automatic optimization: Due to the use of a load-sensitive constant power control hydraulic system, the drilling machine automatically adapts to the working load and reasonably selects pressure and flow parameters to fully utilize the equipment's capabilities to improve work efficiency.
Mode Selection Function
Due to the different physical and geological characteristics of rocks and different requirements for wellbore design, the cutting slot drilling machine has two operating modes to choose from:
Ø Constant pressure mode: The constant pressure mode ensures that the axial pressure of the drill bit on the rock surface is constant. It is suitable for shallow well operations with relatively stable and consistent rock joints and low precision requirements. In this mode, the rock drilling speed is not limited, and the advance rate can be greatly improved.
Ø Constant speed mode: The constant speed mode is where the system automatically adjusts the thrust pressure to maintain a constant advance rate. It is suitable for deep well operations with relatively fragmented rocks, well-developed joints, and high precision requirements. The rock drilling speed in this mode can be manually set according to the rock conditions and experience.
3) High-efficiency System, Anti-fouling and Energy-saving
High-pressure system: It adopts a 40Mpa high-pressure hydraulic system, which increases the energy density by 40% compared with the traditional 28Mpa hydraulic system, and the maximum torque and push-pull force are also increased by more than 1/3.
Constant power control: The hydraulic system adopts constant power control, which can automatically adjust the pressure and flow parameters according to the load, avoiding overload of the motor and diesel engine, and extending the service life of various hydraulic components.
Load-sensitive proportional control: Both the pump and valve adopt load-sensitive control, supplying energy according to load demand, with little overflow and heat generation; the valve adopts full proportional control, and the speed of each actuator is only proportional to the amplitude of the handle movement, regardless of load changes, making operation more precise and comfortable.
Multiple filtration: It adopts multiple filtration of inlet oil, pipelines, and return oil, enhancing the system's anti-fouling ability and reducing the failure rate.
4) Remote Operation, Harmonious Man-machine Interface
Onboard manual operation: In debugging and emergency situations, the electrical control operating system can be shielded, and the control handles on the chassis of the drilling machine can be used to manually perform all actions.
Wired operation mode: It ensures that the control system can safely continue to operate and continue working when the battery power is insufficient;
Visual remote operation: In order to remove the constraints of the control cable and better choose the operating field of vision, the normal operation and movement of the drilling machine adopts visual remote operation, and the control cable can also be connected for wired operation when needed.
Menu operation interface: A liquid crystal display is configured on the remote control console, which can timely display various main working parameters and drilling machine status parameters, and provide fault reminders and operation prompts, making operation simple and reliable, and reducing the knowledge requirements for operators.
Fully mechanized operation: The entire drilling process adopts mechanization, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers and reduces the number of workers compared with traditional drilling machines.
5) Innovative Design, Reliable Performance
Application of advanced design methods: Using SolidWorks 3D design software, the entire machine is 3D modeled, a virtual prototype is created on the computer, and the hydraulic system fluid dynamics analysis, overall structural strength analysis, and kinematics analysis are simulated under realistic working conditions, constantly improving and optimizing the design scheme to ensure the rationality and reliability of the product design.
Adopting new structural materials: Continuously updating product design concepts, and promptly adopting and introducing advanced international structures and new materials. High-strength structural steel is used in key parts of the drilling rig, and all moving parts use new oil-containing wear-resistant materials. All pins have undergone surface hardening treatment, effectively improving the overall reliability of the machine.
6) Data Sensing and Information Sharing
Selection of high-end brand configurations: Key components and parts of the drilling rig's hydraulic system and electrical control system are all selected from internationally renowned manufacturers. Core self-made components are commissioned to domestic professional manufacturers for design and production, and product testing is undertaken by national authoritative testing departments, ensuring product reliability.
Comprehensive Sensing: The system uses a variety of high-precision sensors such as pressure, displacement, and angle to collect and detect equipment status, environment, operation, and work data in a timely manner. The system or operator can understand the current operating status of the entire machine based on the feedback data and make reasonable adjustments at any time.
Win10 Industrial Control Tablet Assistance: Through Wi-Fi wideband communication with the vehicle-mounted computer, it displays various parameters in detail and in real time, automatically generates work reports, equipment operation reports, and related records. It can also connect to office computers via Wi-Fi to transmit data to the mine digital platform and supplier platform.
