Customer Interview | Zhang Long of Daming Mining: Joining forces with Hunan Chuangyuan to empower mining development with intelligent equipment

On the occasion of the 2024 Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum and the 14th China Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo, we were fortunate to invite Mr. Zhang Long, Executive Vice President of Xinjiang Daming Mining Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Daming Mining), to accept our interview and share with us the requirements of mining enterprises for equipment:
Q We know that Daming Mining is an old friend of Hunan Chuangyuan. Could you please introduce the opportunity that led to your first cooperation with Hunan Chuangyuan?
A At that time, we had a vertical shaft construction project, and we hoped to use mechanization to replace manual construction. So we searched for equipment manufacturers in China to do this. Mainly, we saw that Chuangyuan had the technical reserves and a strong technical background.
Q What are the main standards or requirements that Daming Mining considers when purchasing mining equipment?
A: Previously, when purchasing equipment, our requirements were for products with a high level of mechanization and automation. Now and in the future, we prioritize whether we can achieve (automated) labor reduction or (intelligent) unmanned operation, the level of intelligence, or the possibility of future expansion of intelligent functions.
Q: The standards you mentioned are also the direction of Hunan Chuangyuan's product development. May I ask if you have any suggestions for improvement or equipment requirements in your cooperation with Hunan Chuangyuan?
A: Currently, Chuangyuan may have too many orders, resulting in a longer delivery cycle. Our demand for products is urgent, and we hope to strengthen product supply security.
Daming Mining is a representative of mining transformation in Xinjiang and even in China.
