The 14th Five-Year Plan National Key Research and Development Program
Undertaking two projects: "Safe and efficient mining technology and intelligent equipment for underground metal mines" and "Efficient and green continuous mining technology and equipment for thin ore veins". Hunan Chuangyuan actively promotes the deep integration of "production, education, research, and application" in the 14th Five-Year Plan National Key Research and Development Program, accelerates the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, further consolidates the team's technological advantages, and provides equipment support for intelligent mine construction and safe production.
Challenge and Breakthrough
In 2023, we formed a joint research and development unit with Changsha Nonferrous Metals Research Institute to seek breakthroughs in "bottleneck" problems in the industry. Through the close combination and complementarity between mining technology and equipment, we will thoroughly solve the safety risks in the current mining of steeply inclined thin ore bodies, and at the same time, through the application of small-scale mechanized mining equipment, improve mining efficiency and help mine owners effectively solve a series of problems such as difficulty in recruiting workers and high construction costs.
Results Verification & Project Approval
In February, the Zhu Lan Iron Mine 5G intelligent mining project, in which Chuangyuan Intelligent participated in cooperation with Huawei, China Mobile, and Xingyun Zhilian, passed the expert group acceptance with excellent results; the "Research and Development of a Series of Intelligent Shaft Drilling Rigs and Key Technologies" project led by Hunan Chuangyuan was successfully selected into the "List of Mining Safety Production Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects (First Batch)" of the National Mine Safety Supervision Administration.
In March, the Zijin Mining-Chuangyuan Intelligent Motor Car Automatic Driving System was subject to an investigation by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources as a key project to be inspected; President Zou Laichang of Zijin Group led a team to Shanxi Zijin Project to investigate the first domestic underground unmanned mine jointly developed by Zijin Group and Hunan Chuangyuan. This project has initially realized the full-process intelligent mining of underground non-coal mines.
In May, Chuangyuan Intelligent and Pengyuan Hongda Mining officially signed an agreement to provide Pengyuan Hongda with the most economical comprehensive control scheme by seamlessly integrating the digital mine platform and the safety supervision platform.
In July, Hunan Chuangyuan reached a cooperation intention with Fankou Mine to help Fankou Mine achieve intelligent transformation with the latest equipment and technology.
In August, the "Automatic Operation System for Rock Drilling Machines Based on Big Data Technology" jointly applied by Hunan Chuangyuan and Central South University was approved for the Hunan Provincial Key Research and Development Plan.
In December, Hunan Chuangyuan's "Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Intelligent Mining Equipment in Underground Non-Coal Mines" was successfully established as the 2023 Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center.

In February, the Hunan Provincial Department of Education announced the list of Hunan Provincial Joint Training Bases for Graduate Students in 2022, and the Central South University-Hunan Chuangyuan Group Joint Training Base for Graduate Students was approved for inclusion.
In March, Hunan Chuangyuan successfully passed the A-level evaluation of the two-integration management system and multiple system certifications; it was also successfully selected into the list of pilot enterprises for improving the brand capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises in Hunan Province in 2023 by the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the list of well-known trademarks and brands in Hunan Province by the Hunan Provincial Trademark and Brand Association; Chuangyuan Mining Machinery employee Duan Xiaofei was awarded the title of "Skilled Worker Star".
In April, Hunan Chuangyuan's "A New Type of Cutting Slot Shaft Construction Drilling Rig" won the second prize of the Hunan Patent Award; Chuangyuan Mining Machinery was awarded the advanced unit in the safety production target management assessment.
In June, Hunan Chuangyuan's CY-R160V shaft drilling rig was selected into the "List of 100 Key New Industrial Products in Hunan Province in 2022".
In August, Hunan Chuangyuan was successfully selected as a national-level specialized, refined, and new "small giant" enterprise.
In November, Chairman Wang Yi won the honor of "2023 Hunan Provincial Leading Talents in Science and Technology Entrepreneurship (Top-notch)".
In December, Hunan Chuangyuan was awarded the "National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise", and the intelligent operation system for intelligent mining perforation equipment won the second prize of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Progress Award.

In July, Hunan Chuangyuan was invited to attend the 14th Academic Annual Conference of the China Nonferrous Metals Society and the 13th Xinjiang International Mining Expo, enjoying immense popularity. Important guests including Long Yi, vice president of Zijin Mining; Qin Zhong Hu, vice general manager of Shanxi Zijin; and Australian customers visited for exchanges.
In August, Hunan Chuangyuan was invited to attend the 30th anniversary celebration of Zijin Mining, witnessing Zijin Mining's entry into a new development period.
In September, Chairman Wang Yi led a team to visit important customers such as Tibet Julong and Baogang Group to discuss cooperation.
In October, Hunan Chuangyuan was invited to participate in the 1st Academic Exchange Conference on Continuous Mining and Technological Development for Non-Coal Mines. Chairman Wang Yi led a team to visit clients in Serbia to listen to their feedback.
