Positive Feedback Received | Zijin Mining - Chuangyuan Intelligent Motor Vehicle Autonomous Driving Project Undergoes Investigation by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources organized over 150 leaders, supervisors from the Zhejiang provincial city and county resource and planning bureaus, and representatives from the local geological and mineral systems to visit Jinshi Resources Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinshi Resources")'s Zhejiang Zijin Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zijin Mining") to conduct an investigation and research on its intelligent and green mine construction. Among them, Zijin Mining's— Chuangyuan intelligent mine locomotive automatic driving system, as a key project to be inspected, received widespread attention and unanimous praise from the visiting team.
Previously, Jinshi Resources signed a cooperation agreement with Hunan Chuangyuan to jointly build a complete underground unmanned mine demonstration project, building Jinchang Mining into an underground unmanned mining site demonstration project, and Zijin Mining into a mine locomotive unmanned driving intelligent transportation system demonstration project. In addition, it completed the research and development, testing, and acceptance of four types of unmanned mining complete sets of intelligent equipment.
The mine locomotive automatic driving system project, which the delegation visited this time, was built by Chuangyuan Intelligent, a subsidiary of Hunan Chuangyuan. It aims to achieve automated operation of the mine transportation system through a remote control platform, including automatic ore discharge, mine locomotive operation management, mine locomotive scheduling, automatic ore unloading, remote unmanned driving of mine locomotives, and real-time monitoring of the operation process.
Zijin Mining —The Chuangyuan intelligent mine locomotive automatic driving project is located in Yanqian Village, Xinchang Township, Changshan County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, in the Zijin Mining mine's No. 190 main flat tunnel. The tunnel is approximately 4.3 kilometers long and includes three fixed ore discharge points (one at 2300 meters, one at 4000 meters), two manual ore loading points (at 2000 meters and 3000 meters), and a curved track inclined ore unloading area. After the project is implemented, one platform operator can automatically operate and control four groups of eight mine locomotives, transporting them back and forth to designated locations and automatically loading and unloading ore, greatly improving personnel utilization, reducing labor intensity, and lowering operating costs.
The Chuangyuan intelligent mine locomotive automatic driving system uses high-speed wireless communication, fiber optic ring network, or 5G communication technology as the transmission platform, relying on the independently developed mine transportation monitoring system for safety. It uses underground locomotive precise positioning technology, GIS technology, machine vision technology, UWB centimeter-level positioning technology, and locomotive safety emergency protection technology, and is equipped with a unique locomotive intelligent driving algorithm. It can realize unmanned driving operation of the entire process of locomotive material and ore loading, transportation, and unloading, including unmanned locomotive operation control, automatic ore loading, unloading station material level and ore card monitoring, locomotive autonomous operation variable speed cruise, well sliding and ore discharge pit material level detection, and safety emergency protection.
In addition to the mine locomotive automatic driving system, Chuangyuan Intelligent also implemented a wind turbine unattended system at Zijin Mining, which is currently operating well. It uses network communication, the Internet of Things, and automatic control technology for centralized management to achieve real-time parameter monitoring, unattended automatic control operation, fault warning, and automatic linkage, extending equipment service life, saving energy, and effectively reducing personnel needs.
