Recently, President Zou Laichang of Zijin Mining Group led a team to Shanxi Zijin Project to investigate the first domestic underground unmanned mining site jointly developed by Zijin Mining Group and Hunan Chuangyuan.

On the day of the investigation, President Zou Laichang inspected the Shanxi Zijin Central Control Center and observed the remote intelligent operation of underground shaft drilling, unmanned operation of mining drills, and unmanned driving operation of loaders. Afterwards, Chairman Wang Yi accompanied President Zou Laichang to go deep underground to conduct on-site investigations of the intelligent down-the-hole drill independently developed by Hunan Chuangyuan. It is reported that the project has initially achieved fully intelligent mining of underground non-coal mines, and is expected to be 3 completed at the end of the month. At that time, Shanxi Zijin will achieve indoor operation and remote control of the production process, helping a large number of miners stay away from harsh working environments such as deep wells, high temperatures, and rock bursts, fundamentally solving the problem of safe production; promoting the intellectualization of technical teams, the scale of ore mining, and comprehensive industrial upgrading, significantly improving production capacity, and reducing production costs.
