The entire machine adopts a modular design, consisting of three main components: a power car, a main unit, and a crawler transporter. Its compact structure allows for easy relocation underground without the need for complicated and time-consuming disassembly. This makes transportation and relocation highly convenient, and the machine demonstrates excellent adaptability even in challenging conditions such as low ceilings and confined spaces. Equipped with an innovatively developed closed-loop heavy-duty drive system, the machine boasts rock-breaking capabilities that can handle a wide variety of complex geological formations.

Rail-wheel shaft drilling rigs are suitable for shaft sinking in underground mines with rail systems. The nominal shaft diameter ranges from 1.5 to 4 meters, and the maximum shaft depth can reach 400 meters.

To address the adaptability issues of shaft drilling rigs in small- and medium-sized underground mines that operate both with rail and non-rail systems, we have adopted a wheeled locomotion design equipped with a diesel power unit, enabling convenient and efficient relocation and construction operations. Additionally, an optional rail-wheel switching device is available, allowing seamless one-button switching between rail-based and non-rail-based operational scenarios.

The cutterhead is available in two types: monolithic cutterheads and modular cutterheads. The modular cutterhead features a compact disassembled size, making it easy to lower into the wellbore. By simply replacing the multi-blade holder, it can be assembled into reaming cutterheads of various diameters. The carefully designed arrangement of cutting segments allows the same cutterhead to accommodate different-performance roller cutter assemblies, thereby reducing users' costs associated with repeated purchases. A proprietary flexible connection between the pull rod and the cutterhead housing effectively mitigates the impact of uneven loading during operations under complex geological conditions, thus extending the cutterhead's service life. The large-scale cutterhead is equipped with traction rods and wheel assemblies that significantly enhance the efficiency of cutterhead transportation.
